Holes !

For reading our group IMAC had to read a chapter book called Holes by Louis Sachar. We then had to complete tasks that our teacher has given us, we needed to describe their character description, family description and character appearance from what we know already from the chapters that we have read.

Stars research

I am in the Stars group with Zac and Tajiany. We had to complete different tasks and when finished apply them onto our tri-fold. We had a little bit of trouble near the end but I had friends her were willing to help me out. We presented out tri-fold to our class, everything went well and me and Zac felt proud of it even though we had to wing it through out the presentation. Eastern Zone netball tournament

Yesterday the year 8 boys and girls competed in the eastern zone netball tournament at the netball center near the flee market. There other schools there like Sylvia park, Pt England and other schools that we saw. 

The year 8 girls team went to semi finals but sadly came 2nd place and the year 8 boys came 3rd place. but in the end we all had fun, Thanks to Mrs Fa'alili, Miss Tuia and Mr Fa'alili for taking the time to train the team, get them prepared for Mr Fa'alili for the transport.

Fail story-Just practice round :)

On my way to the airport with my passport gripped tightly into my hands and my suitcase in my other. The car drives pass other vehicles while I stare at the sun...it was as if the sun was smiling back at me so I smiled back too. As we reached I was full of excitement because I was ready to go explore this place called Japan. After all the packing, shipping, farewells and goodbyes I finally checked in and as I did I had a glimsed on my high school crush from 8th grade. It was as if I was looking into a beautiful most handsome past of mine. I start to blush like a red balloon, heart beating at 101 miles per hour, eyes gazing upon his beauty and yet I said nothing because…’Oh wait I haven;t introduced myself, my name is Maria mariposa but you can call me Maria. To be honest seeing Rafael just made me weak on my knees so weak that I fainted and fell head first to the floor. ‘Yeah not really my best move’ Maria said As she fell dramatically to the floor all she could hear was echoes saying “Maria?” “Maria?” “are you okay?” as she woke up, she could not believe her own eyes, her one and only crush was there holding her soft hands and making sure that she was doing fine. Soon after she managed to get herself back together but all that was on her mind was Rafael’s luminous face as she is helping her up. 

Maria was feeling so much mixed emotions like an art peace full of bright different colors, Maraia in a flirty voice “thanks Rafael” while her face was turning red as a tomato “No problem” siad Rafael. “Is your flight 1428 to Japan?” Rafael asked “yeah why?” Maria questioned “Oh no it’s nothing, it's just that you are on the same flight as me” Rafael mentioned. All Maria could do is scream in her head because of how excited she is that her high school crush is going on the same flight as her. Anyways, let's get back on course, as Maria and Rafael check in they had no idea that they were going on the wrong flight, instead of Japan they ended up catching a flight to Las Vegas “at least Maria gets to go vegas with her dream boy right?” and get this, for some reason they have the same seat what a coincidence, anyway let’s get back on track.
