A Tale Of 3 Languages

In week 8 or 9 Room 9 had to create a google slide for our inquiry and it's called A Tale Of 3 Languages. So I decided to share my master peace with you guys. We needed 3 questions fro each language witch is English,NZSL and Te Reo or Maori. We had to answer them by guessing and than you put in your google answers. Dogo news giving

Room 9's Guided Reading task was to create a google presentation that miss Ly created for us to copy. My dogo news was about thanksgiving as you can see. It has facts about who started the first thanksgiving and much more. I hope that you have learnt something interesting about this make sure to share some 💝information with others as well.💝

Manaiakalani film festival Room 9

For our film festival Room 9 created 2 films and one of them is based on a cartoon called The magic school bus and it is about shearing interesting facts about natural disasters. The other film is about life lesson and how you can change that lesson and telling people what is wrong and right. Here is our film and make sure to come back to see more of my amazing posts.

For maths Room 9 got given a task to do. We had to go on maths playground and pick one game to play for a while then we needed to create a google drawings and put it in our homework folder. On the google drawings we need to add some fun details about it,a cool and catchy title and how you can play it if you can fit it in the poster first. Here is my poster for my game.

My grumpy but proud Taniwha

Now that we have a Inquiry called- A tale of 3 languages room 9 decided to create our own Taniwha's and you get to pick the colours of his skin,ether if he is going to have wings or hairy feet and much 🍀🍀more. I created a Taniwha and his name is Matanui and I add some fun facts about him and you can 🍀read on this power point. Guess what I think I am the only one in the class who chose green.🍀

Butterfly creek holiday trip

For homework our task was to make a google presentation on where Miss Ly could go in new Zealand but the cost has to be under $50.00 only. You will need information and we will be voting on it with the whole class. Check out my cool work. I deiced to do butterfly creek as a holiday trip.

Maybe the teachers should have a day off and go there for a holiday trip.

Part 2 in Volcano Time!

Part two in making volcanoes and we are making a lot of gropes. My volcano is ending up super well and I bought some little pebbles or ball's I bought those to use it as sand for my volcano. Check out some photos.

For cyber smart our teacher miss Ly made a slide for us so we can practise our comments on it and I have finished editing my comment and I published my comments to Amy,Leeroy and Lexi. The purpose of this slide is that it help's us to make sure that we are following the blogging rules and more. Blog slide

Volcano Time !

Today room nine was making volcano paper mache. Me and my friends had so much fun in making the cool volcanoes. I felt sticky,weird and funny when I dipped my  soft hands into the white glue. Here are some photos of our beautiful art work.

The mystery room 9 big questions

For room nines Inquiry we made a slide and put our big questions it it and we each get to pick our own natural disasters and I picked earthquakes because earthquakes give me a little rumble 'get it rumble' anyways here is my slide. The reason why we dhotis because it is part of our inquiry learning and we get to learn new thinks about changing landscape.

The awesome cross country

Today we had cross country and he have four house colours and they are blue,yellow,green and red and I am in the neon yellow group. The year three and fours had to do one lap,the year five and six did two laps and I was a year six and the year sevens and eights did three laps with was tiring. The Maritime museum trip room 9's fantastic adventure

Room 9 had such an adventure we had so much fun at the maritime museum trip we even took some photos.We also got go on the ferry witch was huge!Room 9 is always up for some snaps so here are some ENJOY!

We were shared a link to this awesome museum sight and i made a slide with five slides in it and i shred about what I learned,facts and lots more. 

Terrible disaster Tapo

.In 1846 on the seventh of May a massive landslide on the shores of lake Taupo has overwhelmed Kainga-A maori village of Te Rapa.The cause killed around sixty people,including Ngati Tuwharetoa the leader  Mananui Te HeuHeu Tukina the second.

                                                     

Here is the statics I was able to make.

What I thought about the terrible accident is that maybe people that live near Tapo should get prepared just incase for another landslide,like they can hold a emergency meeting when the landslide happen.

Our class had a inquiry assignment and we had to look at the history of our school or our community and i picked our community.I chose to storefronts KFC and McDonald.\

For our homework we were assigned three things to do but I chose the awesome number fact family.

Number fact family is awesome. What I found out that was interesting about it is that there are so many ways of getting the same answer but different questions just by using three or four numbers.

Today at school I got to make my phone for my character called Mackenzie Holster from Dork Dairy and that is what I am going to dress up as for book day tomorrow.

And y friends are dressing up as the other characters.You just need to see what they are wearing tomorrow.I am feeling a bit scared for tomorrow but i am also excited in the same time.

I had buddy class with my buddy named Brooke.She was well behave and we had so much fun.We did painting,printing and the teacher was reading us a book called Bucket filler.

Assembly T3 Room 9

I was so buzzing when we were doing the help me help you song sand my spech but is was so much fun to do the assembly.We did two song help me help you and stand by me,we also did our fire aand our kawa of care presentation.And in the end we all sang the duffy song together.

My learning goals for term3

I was happy to find out my goals for term 3 and i want to work more on my maths so i can achieve a higher goal.
