Upgrade for school...

For writing we had to figure out what we wanted to do to upgrade the school if we were Principal of our school for one whole week.

For one of the activities, we had to create a profile image of Lorde, the things she loves to do, some information about her and an Image.

Teach- Wood craft 2019

 It is now week 8. Ir has been a hard working term but I managed to finish of my box, It took a lot of measuring with the tri-square, cutting the the saw and a lot of concentration and focus.

I could make use of this box to keep all my personal things inside or jewelry.

We went over some safety rules on how to use the tools. how to handle them and where to put them in the right place. We than had to figure out the measurements for the wood and measure them using a rue and a tri-square. After that we got taught how to use a saw to cut the joints and then use a chisle and a

hammer to cut out the extra wood. Now that we have finished with cutting out all the joints we than had to name the sides so that we can glue them to the correct joints. After we have glued the joints together we then sand the sides to make sure that it is smooth, after we sand the sides we then use these

 special power tools called a sander to sand the whole box until it is silky. Now that we have finished the sanding section we then moved onto to coating it with oil using a cloth and dipping it inside the container witch had the oil inside and rubbed it all over the box including the lid, so that the box will have a nice touch up, we made sure that we did two layers of oil. We let the box dry and is now ready to be taken home.

RM 13 Silhouette art

Rm 13 has been creating amazing art peaces and here are one of the. They are called silhouette art when is includes bold colors like warm and cold colors with a black image that is like a silhouette.

Rm 13 Zentangle art!

In Rm 13 we wanted to try something out for art, so we decided to create zentangle arts using different types of shapes and sizes.

Aboriginal aart !!

For Rm 13's assembly we decided to create a movie with all of our aboriginal art's and dotted paintings.

For writing we had to create a poem called color poem where you chose your favourite color and write about it, making sure that you have add in the 5 senses, a place that is the same color as yours and more options.

One of my art work I did was something that inspires us and I created a girl who is singing with musical notes because I love music and music is my passion.

Love yourself Art!

I decided to make another art but using pastal. I got inspired and made the BTS Love yourself logo from onw of their albums because I love their music and it inspires me to love myself.

Aboriginal art

Our topic for this Term is Art. And so we decided to make our own aboriginal art using earbuds, paper and with a little bit of patient it would turn into a beautiful mater peace.

HIT THE BUTTON !

Before Rm 13 begins math we start of with a warm up game called HIT THE BUTTON it's where you get different choices like Division, Half etc. Then you get timed I minute and you have answer as many questions as you can but you have to chose the right answer. 

This is my highest high score I have gotten so fat.

For reading we got shared a google slide and we had to complete these inferences in each slide. 

Indigenous art

The focus for Term 4 this year is Art and for our class we had to learn about Indigenous art where it came from, what it is and more. We then got given a sheet to fill in with some information that we have to research. 

Feedback about Mrs Fonua and reading

We are at the point where Term 3 is coming to an end. For reading we had to write an feedback on our teacher Mrs Fonua. We had to write what we enjoyed in reading?, What is something that Mrs Fonua can improve on in our reading? and what is something that I want to do next time?

Task Card #20

For reading today we had to imagine ourselves as the main characters in the book, then we had to write a Diary entry of what is happening to his/her life. I chose Stanley Yalnets who is one of the main characters in the story. Here is my Dairy entry of Stanley Yalnets at Camp Green Lake.

Prefix and Suffix

For writing our group had to think of 11 words that have the same prefix and suffix in it. For example ANT means something that is going against something or going backwards so we had to write words like ANTICLOCKWISE and egc. This is my Suffix and Prefix for today.

For writing we had to read chapters 15 to 16 in our Holes story, then we had to choose a task card to complete. I chose Task card 19 and you have to write a letter to someone telling them your opinion on the book. Check it out!

Stanley Yalnets

For writing we had to complete one of the task's about our story holes. The questions was What do you think the Warden was looking for? and Why and the other question was Did Stanley make the right choice deciding to give everything he finds to X-ray, And be specific ?

Positive message!

Rm 13 positive messages

Rm 23 had to make up a positive message and create a google drawing of it. My message is about  knowing that there is always someone out there who is risking something of them for you, learning to expect nothing but except everything and what it is. Remember that the thought's count rather then the gift. I am a Christian so I added my own bible verses in there that relates.

Trip to...Maldives

For writing our group called IMAC. We had to try write a story starter, something to introduce our story and we had to try and be different then other normal story starters for example - Once Upon a time or One a sunny day etc. I got inspired by Geronimo Stilton so I made my story starter a long those lines.

Bus Stop Term 3

Before Rm 13 starts of their learning we usually play warm up games like Nitro type and typing test.com but my favorite one is Bust Stop. It's a game when you someone gives  you a letter and you have to think of names, colors, celebrities eg starting with that same letter.
